Emerson - Control Techniques New Solution Modules put spotlight on functionality

Control Techniques new SM-Encoder Output Plus (List: $250) and SM-I/O 32 (List: $660) are two space-saving drive options that extend the performance capabilities of Control Techniques servo and AC drive technologies.

SM-Encoder Output Plus for use with Digitax ST and Unidrive SP

Like the SM-Encoder Plus, the SM-Encoder Output Plus provides an interface for an additional encoder (incremental) to be connected to the drive and used as position and speed feedback for the drive. The SM-Encoder Output Plus additionally provides an encoder power supply output and simulated encoder output channels for use with external motion controllers

SM-I/O 32 SM-I/O 32 for use with Commander SK, Commander GP20, Unidrive SP, and Digitax ST

The SM-I/O 32 provides up to 32, high-speed, bi-directional I/O points and includes a 24V power supply output. This drive option enables users to exploit the PLC functionality of the Commander SK when equipped with LogicStick, the Commander GP20, the scalable PLC functionality of the Unidrive SP, and the control functionality of the Digitax ST. Updates of up to 500µs apply to all drives, except the Commander SK, which has a maximum 30ms update speed.
