popular encoders. A new and enhanced design of EPC's proprietary Opto-ASIC sensor provides
resolutions of up to 10,000 CPR. This new generation sensor provides these higher
resolutions through integrated interpolation circuitry, allowing EPC to maintain a
comfortably wide air gap between the sensor and the disk, protecting the accuracy and
reliability of the encoder. The new higher-resolution design is available in the shaft and hollow bore versions of the Model 15, the Model 260 and the Tru-TracŪ series.
