New Photoelectric Sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs Offer Unparalleled Sensing Range from Miniature Housing

TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduces ML20 Series Photoelectric Sensors. These miniature (20mm x 11mm x 31mm; 0.75 in x 0.5 in. x 1.25 in.) sensors are available in diffused, divergent, polarized retro-reflective and thru-beam models, and are a cost-effective sensing solution in any number of industries and applications where space is at a premium and long-range sensing is required.
ML20 Series Photoelectric Sensors Diffused and divergent models offer 1m (3 ft.) and 100mm (4 in.) sensing ranges, and are well suited for reflector-free and clear object detection, respectively. Polarized retro-reflective models offer a sensing range of up to 5m (16 ft.), and will not false trip on reflective objects. Thru-beam models provide a sensing range up to 15m (50 ft.) and are an ideal solution for dirty environments when high signal strength is needed.

Diffused, divergent and retro-reflective models feature built-in mutual interference protection that is automatically enabled when two units are used in close proximity to one another. Additionally, to avoid potential operator error the “light on/dark on” switch is located opposite the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer on all models to easily distinguish between the two features.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
